The Symphony's two professional resident ensembles travel thousands of miles each year, bringing the highest quality chamber music to Montanans of all ages. Both ensembles perform a wide range of educational programs:

• Interactive assemblies for elementary school students
• Workshops in high school band and orchestra classes
• Collaborative concerts with a high school choirs
• Visual art/music collaborations with art classes!

The Cascade Quartet and Chinook Winds engage students of all ages with their innovative approaches to music education. At home in Great Falls, the resident ensembles work as private teachers for instrumental music students as well as perform educational programs in the Great Falls Public Schools. In order to introduce students to the excitement of attending live performances, the Great Falls Symphony offers Youth Matinee concerts designed specially for elementary school students. Held in the beautiful Mansfield Center for the Performing Arts in the Great Falls Civic Center, the concerts offer students the chance to hear a live symphony orchestra performance specially designed for them.
