Harville, Symphony Shine in New Season
The Great Falls Symphony opened its new 2017-2018 season under the leadership of new director Grant Harville. What a marvelous, fun program.
The young, lovely classical guitarist known as “Jiji” was a joy. I particularly love the “Concierto de Aranjuez” by Joaquin Rodrigo.
The Glinka and the Tchaikovsky made for a marvelously tasty Spanish x Slavic sandwich.
For the evening, Great Falls’ new maestro Harville earned five stars in the Michelin galaxy. A great start.
One other thing; I’m handicapped and I received much help from two ladies: Trudy and one who remained anonymous. And there were others. Thanks to all.
